Where to go from here
You have installed Blue, written a program, and seen an actor keep its state. From here:
- A Tour of Blue takes you through the whole language, a short runnable page at a time: types, effects, actors, workflows, streams, clusters, simulation and AI.
- How-to guides answer specific questions, such as running a cluster or testing a program with the simulator.
- The Blue Book is the complete reference.
Every download has an examples folder: twenty-odd programs, from hello.blue to a bank whose transfers survive crashes across three nodes. Each starts with a comment saying what it shows and how to run it. With Homebrew, they are in $(brew --prefix blue)/libexec/examples.
Tell us what you think
Section titled “Tell us what you think”Blue is in preview, and this is when feedback matters most. If something didn’t work, or surprised you, or was harder than it should have been, we want to hear about it.
