blue ui serves a page that shows a running program, or a store, as it changes. With the store from the last page:

Terminal window
blue ui --store account.db

Then open http://127.0.0.1:7700/. You will see:

  • Actors: every actor, the messages it has handled and is waiting on. Select one to see its state, and to send it a message or ask it something; what you type is type-checked, as in the REPL.
  • History: step back and forth through the actor’s journal, a message at a time, with the state after each and the fields it changed marked.
  • Waits and failures: who is waiting for whom, and any message an actor could not handle, with why.
  • Cluster: when Blue runs on several machines, every node and what it holds.

The page is served only to your own machine. --look-only shows everything and changes nothing, and --port picks another port.

Next: where to go from here.
